Pedestrian Pass Door –

Arm-R-Lite offers a 4″ step over pedestrian pass door (man door) for our Electra, Titan, and Custom CI Models. This pass door is available in either motor or manually operated doors and has a 4″ high bottom rail step over. This product is for private or restricted use only due to the 4″ bottom rail (tripping hazard). This product is not to be used for public egress. Please see our ADA compliant version for a no step over option.

Pass door minimum width of 30″. Please consult factory regarding specific widths for your project.
Available with 1/8″ glazing only (Clear, frosted, tinted, etc…..)
Pass doors are designed/manufactured to “Swing out” only

4″ Step over Pass Door for Arm-R-Lite Overhead Sectional Doors

Limitations:

Available in max overhead door width of 16′-2″ (Limitations apply – please consult regarding max width prior to specifying)
- Pass door leafs to contain 1/8″ tempered glass or solid aluminum panel only due to weight.
- Due to weight, glazing heaver than 1/8″ tempered is not available on sectional doors wider than 12′-2″ with a pass door.
- Sectional doors up to 12′-2″ wide requiring insulated glazing can accommodate 7/16″, 5/8″ or 1″ overall insulated glass units made up of 1/8″ outboard over 1/8″ inboard lites only.
- Fully paneled doors can be insulated on sectionals up to 16′-2″ with a pass door
- THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR PUBLIC EGRESS USE. The 4″ step over pass door is not designed or intended as a public egress assembly and is not to be used or installed as a public egress.

Pass Door Location:

On sectional doors up to 12’2″ wide, pass door can be located in center or up to 12″ from the left or right end stile.
On sectional doors over 12’2″ up to 16’2″ pass door must be in center only.
